If the components of your wheels are not currently available, the build time will be longer to accommodate getting those components in stock.
Technical Specifications
Cush Drive:
- Cush drives are like shock absorbers for your rear wheel.
- They have rubber or soft parts to reduce bumps and vibrations from the road and drivetrain.
- Common on street and sport bikes for a smoother ride.
Direct Drive Hub:
- Direct drive hubs don't have these shock-absorbing parts.
- They're used in off-road bikes for more direct power transfer but can make the ride bumpier.
- Direct and simple, they prioritize performance over comfort.
Fixed Rotor:
- Fixed rotors are like a part of the wheel; they don't move separately.
- When you brake, the whole wheel and rotor stop together.
- Common on regular road bikes.
Floating Rotor:
- Floating rotors can move a bit independently from the wheel.
- They have some play, which helps with better braking and less heat damage.
- Often used in high-performance or off-road bikes
FRONT:
- A 17 x 3.50 inch front wheel is going to get a 120/70-17 size tire.
- Exception: CRF-250/300L and WR250R/X will have a 110/70-17 size tire.
REAR:
- A 17 x 4.25 inch rear wheel is going to get a 150/60-17 size tire.
- A 17 x 5.00 inch rear wheel is going to get a 160/70-17 size tire.
Fitting a 5” wheel or tire on your supermoto bike would generally require some modifications and considerations. It's not a standard size for most supermoto setups outside of track use. For the best fit for everyday riding, we recommend considering a 4.25” wheel.
Anodized colors can look different than expected because of a few reasons:
- Anodizing Method: The way anodizing is done affects color consistency.
- Dye Quality: The quality and amount of dye used matter.
- Anodizing Details: Things like voltage, temperature, and time influence color.
- Lighting: Different lighting can make colors appear different.
