How to choose
- Match the rim diameter first. Full-size motocross bikes run 21 front and 19 rear, enduro and dual sport bikes 21/18, big-wheel 85 and 105cc bikes 19/16, and small-wheel minis 17/14.
- Then match the width to the rim. A 1.60 front rim takes 80/100 or 90/90, a 2.15 rear rim takes 110/100 through 120/90.
- Terrain last. Soft and loamy ground calls for the MX34 or the Gekkotas, hardpack for the MX53, mixed trail for the D606, EN91 or Shinko 241.
Add a tube sized to the tire and rim locks if you run low pressure. Our own MXE-9 covers 19-inch front and 16-inch rear wheels.
