Product Description
Dunlop Geomax MX34: soft to intermediate terrain
Dunlop's motocross tire for loam, sand and mud, and for tracks that mix loose and packed dirt. It replaced the MX33. We run it on Warp 9 wheels every day, in 21, 19 and 17-inch fronts and 19, 18, 16 and 14-inch rears. Pick your size below: the photo shows the front or rear tread for the size you pick.
What Dunlop changed
- Progressive Cornering Block Technology (PCBT Advanced) on front and rear: the blocks flex to grip in turns and keep slides controllable.
- Rear center blocks 11% taller and 44% wider than before, for drive out of corners.
- Wider gaps between the front's middle and shoulder blocks so mud clears.
- A new carcass material that Dunlop says holds its performance up to 30% longer.
Off-road use only. Not DOT approved for the street.

Rim width is Dunlop's recommended width for that size. Specs are from Dunlop's MX34 size chart.
How to choose
- Match the rim diameter first: full-size motocross bikes run a 21 front and 19 rear, enduro bikes 21/18, big-wheel 85 and 105cc bikes 19/16, small-wheel minis 17/14.
- Then the width: wider rear rims (2.50 and up) suit the 110 and 120 widths.
- Harder, drier ground? Look at the MX54, Dunlop's intermediate to hard terrain version.
Add a tube sized to the tire (the Tube column lists ours) and rim locks if you run low pressure.
