Product Description

Warp 9 Forged Brake Levers

Engineered for strength, precision, and rider comfort, the Warp 9 Forged Brake Levers are a direct performance upgrade.

Each lever is forged from high-grade aluminum, delivering superior strength and durability compared to common cast levers. The indexed reach-adjustment knob allows riders to dial in their ideal lever position for finger length, or personal preference.

Designed for real-world riding conditions, the lever blade features octagon-pattern recesses for positive finger grip even in wet or muddy terrain, while the curved face profile provides a smooth, ergonomic feel that eliminates the harsh, square-edge discomfort found on many aftermarket levers.

The ball-detent folding hinge design helps prevent bending or breakage during crashes or tip-overs, while the integrated paddle system within the hinge reliably activates the brake switches so you can keep your Regen and brake light functions. The left lever also incorporates a built-in parking brake, maintaining OEM convenience with Warp 9’s signature precision build quality.

Key Features:

  • Fits the following bikes:

    • Y-Volt Surge
  • Forged aluminum construction – stronger and more durable than cast

I bought these for my Y-volt Surge-V

I like these for 3 key reasons. First, the actual lever shape and rounded contour. Less bulky than the Lewis overly blocky design. Second, the quick access to the adjuster which sets its distance away from the grip. Thirdly, they just look better and have color options. (I will say ahead of time that these will create less arm and finger pump when I'm using my brakes under heavy, continuous braking)

The negative is, at least on mine, there is a fair amount of wobble/playat the mounting point that makes mine feel sub standard or less quality feeling. The Lewis-branded levers which come on this bike, though terrible feeling because of shape and thickness, they were solidly mounted and the tolerances were clearly tighter for the more precise fitment and feel.

The fix would be to include with these Warp9 levers, 2 to 4 brass, very thin washers to take up the small amount of gap/play to make the levers feel more connected and the better feel. the extra play and wobble makes these look like an afterthought.

Brass ultra-thin washers that come in many EDC folding pocket knives, these would be perfect. Bad news is all my brass washers are in my knives that use them.
